Hello!

I'm James - a London-based motion designer. I came from video-editing, photography and news journalism. This is why my design work is strongly narrative-driven. I believe every frame should tell your story and reflect your brand. Ten years at the BBC gave me a strong understanding of visual storytelling and marketing - if we didn't sell a video to the audience, no-one watched it.

When I'm not designing you'll usually find me on Cubase trying to compose scores like Hans Zimmer or in the pub arguing about cinematography or something movie-adjacent!
